This post is for anyone who has wondered if this shirt would EVER be retired, especially the Poe's. Its finally happened. I found it in our DI pile and had to pull it out for a picture. You can't really see all the tatters and holes from the picture. I'm just wondering now, how will I find my husband in a store if I can't see this shirt? Saturday, August 22, 2009

Belly Update
Since I'm well into my last trimester, belly updates have been requested. So, my 4-year-old made this portrait to show what I look like. As you can see I'm much bigger than the rest of my family...(though my husband is extremely tall)...at least there is a big smile on my face!

Long Distance Call From A Princess Phone:
"Ummm, Hold on MOM...I gotta call the Prophet..."
"Ring, Ring"
"Oh Hi...President Monson?? ...yeah....um...What are you doing?"
*Long Pause*
"Oh...Just eating Mac & Cheese?...yeah, us too"
"well....Bye!"

Happy Ocho, Babe!
So, this year's Anniversary was weak because of me...I was at Girl's Camp and Mr. Mom was at home. But Babe, I only appreciate you more because of all you do for our family. You are so awesome at this "dad" thing that I can't wait to add another Beauty into the mix. Happy #8! I love you more each year.

I'm on my way to Girls Camp! I haven't been since I was a youth myself so I thought this picture was appropriate (I think we were getting ready to head to camp). I have the best memories of girls camp; so after talking my doctor into letting me go (for more than 1 day like he recommended) I was all set!!!! The girls in my ward are so awesome; a picture or two will be coming soon.

TEETH!...HOW do you Battle the Brush??
How do you get your kids to BRUSH?? My four-year-old brushes dutifully, twice daily saying, "A Princess ALWAYS has white, beautiful teeth!" Her sister SCREAMS when I try to assist in brushing. Her brushing method is sucking on the toothpaste and calling it good.
She:
- LOVES her Diego toothbrush
- LOVES the toothpaste
- LOVES looking in the mirror at herself licking it like an icecream cone.

She can be kind of a sour kid, as you can see...
(but on a positive note...don't you love those bubblegum jams??? I do!)

Why I think 4-year-olds probably make better siblings...
- Fills up her -AND HER SISTER'S- cups with water and ice, and pops the top (my favorite)
- Buckles herself and her sister into the car
- Brush her own teeth...(don't freak out, we check for missed spots!)
- Dresses little sister for the day
- Changes her sister's wet diapers. LOL> (Dad taught this one, and appriciates it the most)

You are TWO!
A magazine-bead necklace, homemade and wrapped by her sister...
...and also unwarpped by her sister...I left the girls for 1.5 minutes to throw on a dress for church. When I came out every present was opened (I think they both helped) and all the gifts, warpping paper, and birthday confetti was EVERYWHERE. I was so bummed that I didn't get to see her reaction when she opened the homemade necklace, or even get one picture.
