Much Love for the Mini

Some folks had questions about the ol' minivan (doubed 'the mini'). Yes the carseats are built in (for children weighing 22-50 lbs). Yes, I love it. Say "Yes" to the Mini. Yes, I know the mini isn't for everyone. But if you have children, and travel via roadtrip like we do, it pretty much rocks. Mini rocks the roadtrip. There are few out there that have built in car seats; mine is the 2005 Dodge. I've heard that the older Poniac minis have carseats built in too. And if you are wondering...Yes, I do get crap about driving a minivan, from lots of people. But I never feel like I have to defend it...cause it speaks for itself. All you mini drivers out there...do you not feel the same?

Mini vans are by far the easiest and most convenient cars for loading kids in and out of without breaking your back and they can climb in much easier than an SUV. I sometimes wish I could go back to the van where it's easy for everyone to get in and you don't worry about your kids opening your doors into other cars and concrete objects. Oh and I LOVE the Gwen hairdo on Simi. I still laugh thinking of her oscar winning fits at lunch the other day. I felt bad for you but she was so cute and entertaining for those who are not her mom.

Day~ your pic cracks me up. Did you take the top one? Looks like you backed in to the spot and kept the wheels turned for an special effect. I like the side angle too. I want to get rid of my Yukon. It is such a freaking gas guzzler I don't even like to drive it. I just have to convince Chris about the Mini. Maybe I will show him your pics ;)

Bonnie, actually I just googled my van and I found this picture from someone who was trying to sell theirs on ebay! LOL. I didn't even notice the wheels turned out in the picture! I LOVE that..but yeah, someone was trying hard to make it look cool, huh!?

Yeah, your car is pretty much the coolest car I've ever seen.

re your comment on my blog- ha ha! Trust me, there was absolutely no music coming out of my lips that day, only my fingers! Alas, I don't sing much anymore, I was All-State in high school, but only because I was a mad sight singer. Once I married The Voice, I retired my vocal chords. There's just no competing with him.

I just put some new pics up on the blog. Oh and Kenra finally updated hers!

Hola! Wow, I want to take a roadtrip with you guys (whether it be in a minivan or a Mini); I've been yearning for the open road lately. Maybe Matty and I will have to take a roadtrip of our own to come visit the Macdonalds.

I was so stoked to get my own precious mini! It was one of the best days of my marriage. I felt like Troy was really coming to terms with my needs. I still love my baby and she needs the love because she is gonna have to give me at least 10 more years. I love the picture of the ladies in the back! We miss you guys!

Hooray! I had no idea you had a blog! I am so glad Lee led me to it. Try defending a Sprinter. People really think I am crazy that I drive around a vitual bus that seats ten and you can stand in with my three young kids. But really, I LOVE it. Yes people snicker at what we call the "battleship", but we will laugh them all the way to the gas station since we get 30 miles to the gallon. I am on board with you Dalee, Darn them all!

Never thought I would be a "mimi" person, but we seriously love our van. :)
